GearGrade 2-8 Participants
The boys and girls game are completely different with regards to allowable contact and thus require different levels and types of protective equipment. The Boys game is a contact sport which allows both body and stick checking at the high school level. At younger levels, the game is described as a collision sport. This means protective equipment is required at all levels. The boys use a full protective helmet with face mask and mouth guard, shoulder and elbow pads and padded gloves. The Girls game prohibits deliberate body contact and stick checks, however incidental contact does happen from time to time. Required equipment includes an eye mask and mouth-piece. Thinner gloves are optional but recommended. Grades K-1 This level will be more instructional and all contact will be incidental. A Stick will be provided for your Little Laxer
